How are you going to spend this short life this side of eternity? What “carrots” will you find yourself chasing—relationships, career advancement, travel and new experiences, the approval of a spouse, or giving our kids the home and opportunities we never had? In whatever situation we are in, we ought to live, not for the here and now, but for eternity.
