The Lord has spoken mightily through Ezekiel in many different ways. Through intense and vivid visions, through prophecies acted out, through direct rebuke, through parables and laments. All this for a people that the Lord knew had “estranged themselves” having “set up their idols in their hearts”.

They have forgotten God.

Their behavior proves it.
