As Babylon’s fate is prophesied by Jeremiah, we see that this vibrant, beautiful, strong impenetrable kingdom will be cast down because of their evil. God—the Author of Life—just as He has the power to lift up and make this nation great for His purposes, He has the power to tear it down. When He tears down, no man can raise it up. So too, when He gives life, no man can take that away.
