The burdens of this world are heavy. We are invited by Christ Himself to lay them down and take His yoke. Sufferings, tribulations, difficulties, distresses, burdens of all kinds are unavoidable in this life. Whether in prosperity in the palace, or the darkness of the lions’ den, we can trust in Him who has made us accepted in the Beloved.
