When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, He calls us to live a life of obedience, one in which we continue to walk with Him actively.

Our natural flesh can’t do that. It doesn’t want to do that. The old sinful man is at enmity with God because it refuses to submit to His law—indeed, it cannot.

He’s got to transform us from the inside out.
