Even on days when we feel frustrated that we don’t look as much like Jesus as we want to, we don’t have to hide behind a veil of religiosity. We don’t need to cover ourselves with spiritual language or theological polish.

We can trust that He is still transforming us — and that this ongoing transformation brings Him glory. It’s the glory of the New Covenant, carried out by His Spirit, in His ways, and in His timing.

And knowing that is why we keep looking to Him, the author and the finisher of our faith.
