While we wait for the Lord’s return, life will give us plenty of reasons to be discouraged, to be ashamed, to give up — but we mustn’t. We need endurance; endurance to continue walking with the Lord by faith. The very ministry that the Lord has entrusted to us, the ministry of the New Covenant, the ministry of the Spirit, and the ministry of righteousness is able to provide that sustaining power as we abide in Christ.
