Those in Jerusalem thought they had found a way of living as Christians that was cohesive with the world around them. They believed in Christ and yet were zealous for the Law. They were fitting in. What they didn’t know is that their unwillingness to unshackle themselves from their past, and their fear of man, were stones of stumbling.
