In Amos’ day, while he warned of coming judgment, the people were at ease, self-absorbed, living frivolously for the now. There are scoffers today living the same way though we know that this earth is passing away and there is a final day of judgment to come. So, as those saved by the grace of the Lord, what is the will of God for us as we await a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells?
