Just like Israel, we all are like an adulterous wife; we all have followed after other gods, after the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life. Apart from Christ, we are dead in our trespasses in sins. Praise the Lord that our God is like no other — He was not content to leave us like this, but has redeemed us by His blood!
